Here I am making a fun facts and trivia list about my home city- Houston!! Here are some interesting bits that you may not know about Houston.

1. Houston, though not the capital city of Texas, is the largest city in Texas, the biggest city in the Southern United States, and the fourth-most populated city in the U.S.

2. Houston has a large Vietnamese American population, many who emigrated to Houston for its relatively low cost of living, and humid subtropical climate (which is similar to their home country Vietnam's climate).

3. Houston also has the largest Vietnamese American population in Texas, and the third largest population of them in the U.S.

4. Nicknames for Houston include "H-Town", "Bayou City", "The Big Heart" (after the city assisted in helping New Orleans refugees from the 2005 Hurricane Katrina) and "City with No Limits". Its current official nickname is "Space City", due to being the headquarters of NASA's Johnson Space Center.

5. The city is named after Sam Houston, who was the first president of the Texas republic.

6. The world's first multi-purpose domed stadium was Houston's NRG Astrodome, which opened in 1965.

7. The city's Houston Zoo houses more than 6,000 animals, which represent about 900 species. This zoo is the second most visited zoo in North America.

8. Houston is home to over 10,000 restaurants, which has a diverse array of cuisine from 70 global countries. Mexican food is especially popular, and Mexican restaurants are probably the most common type of restaurant in Houston.

9. The Houston Museum District has a total of 19 museums, attracting 8 million visitors per year.

10. Houston has the second-most Fortune 500 headquarters of any U.S. municipality within its city limits (after New York City).

Many MLP fans will have their own favorite seasons or top favorite season. I'm here to rate the episodes of what I consider to be my absolute favorite season of MLP: Friendship is Magic- Season 4!!

My rating system consists of: Excellent, Great, Good, Okay, Mediocre, and Crap.

Here's all the episodes. And I will give some of them my thoughts and rate each episode.

  1. Princess Twilight Sparkle Part 1 and 2- Great

. I really like how this episode continued from the season 3 finale, where we see how Twilight is learning to fly, and how Twilight learns just what happened when Luna turned into Nightmare Moon. With some humorous moments from Discord, and the way Twilight's friends were determined to assist Twilight in stopping the Everfree Forest vines, this felt like a solid start for season 4.

2. Castle Mane-ia- Excellent

. I simply adore this episode. It had wonderful character dynamics between the Mane Six, as well as Spike. I loved the side adventures that the Mane mares have when they get lost within the old Castle of the Two sisters, and the writing for this episode really shows off the show staff's talent.

3. Daring Don't- Great

4. Flight to the Finish- Good

5. Power Ponies- Good (if a bit silly for some)

6. Bats!- Okay

I don't really dislike this episode, but I can see why it got rather mixed reception from fans. It might be among season 4's weakest episodes, and there's sure to be some debate over whether Fluttershy or Applejack made more sense about dealing with the vampire fruit bats. But I still enjoy some of it, especially Fluttershy showing concern for the fruit bats, and I think with a little more work, this episode could have been much better received.

7. Rarity Takes Manhattan- Excellent

8. Pinkie Apple Pie- Great

9. Rainbow Falls- Okay

10. Three's a Crowd- Good

11. Pinkie Pride- Excellent

It makes me really happy to see how many fans love this episode. This is definitely among season 4's highlights. The episode is also undeniably one of Pinkie Pie's BEST episodes! To have Cheese Sandwich voiced by Weird Al Yankovic is just one of this episode's gems. And having Pinkie and Cheese make up after the misunderstanding, really was heartwarming. I could re-watch this episode again and again.

12. Simple Ways- Okay

13. Filli Vanilli- Good

14. Twilight Time- Great

15. It Ain't Easy Being Breezies- Excellent

16. Somepony to Watch Over Me- Mediocre

Yeah... this one's perhaps the weakest episode of season 4. I don't view this one as particularly bad or awful compared to other bad episodes, but I understand why many fans didn't like this episode, mostly because of Applejack's overprotective behavior towards Apple Bloom. It definitely could have used more work, but I still like seeing just how Applejack loves Apple Bloom as her sister, and the Chimera fight was pretty cool too. Overall, a mediocre episode that still has some redeeming qualities for me.

17. Maud Pie- Excellent

18. Leap of Faith- Good

19. For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils- Excellent

20. Testing, Testing, 1,2,3- Excellent

Now this is one of my favorite episodes of season 4, as well as one of my favorite MLP episodes period. The message about how it's important to find a good studying habit or style really resonates with me and is very relevant in the world of school or college. Whoever wrote this episode, deserves an award!

21. Trade Ya! - Good

22. Inspiration Manifestation- Great

23. Equestria Games- Okay

24. Twilight's Kingdom, Part 1- Excellent!

25. Twilight's Kingdom, Part 2- Excellent!

As a way to help nurture my creativity, and just for some fun, I have decided to make a plot description and fancast list for my own Batman trilogy film!!

It's clear that the Dark Knight has been adapted to film many times. Batman is just so cool and versatile that it's not surprising that he may be the superhero with the most movie adaptations.

So, I'll try and do my own idea if I were to make the next Batman films. If I had the rights and skills as a filmmaker and director, this is how I would do it.

1. The film titles

For the three films, I have decided to try an original and more simple title idea. One that doesn't sound too similar to previous Batman films. So, here is what I would title each film.

The first film would be Rise of the Bat, the second film would be Shadow of the Bat, and the third and final film would be Fear the Bat. The first title would allude to how Batman is becoming a huge presence in Gotham City, and how he is developing as a superhero.

2. Batman's age

Unlike Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Batman in the 2022 movie, who is depicted as being two years into his crimefighting, I would have my version of Bruce Wayne aka Batman being a little older. His age range would be more into his late 30s and early 40s, and while my Batman would be more experienced, he still has some business to do on his crusade of cleaning up crime on the Gotham streets. By the second film, I would have Robin join Batman's crusade against crime.

3. The villains

The villains I would choose for each movie would include villains that have already been onscreen before, and villains that have not yet been in a live-action movie.

So, to launch a more grounded and less fantastical approach for the first movie, the main villain would be Hugo Strange. For the second film, where it starts to get more fantastical in nature, I would go for Mr. Freeze. And for the final movie, I would have the Joker, but teaming up with Hugo Strange and each make an attempt to destroy Batman and re-establish their crime regimes in Gotham.

My fancast for Batman movies

Note: Many of the actors that I cast here, were borrowed from YouTuber Bryan Seeker's ideas for a Batman film fancast. Others are my own casting ideas.

. Karl Urban as Batman/Bruce Wayne

. David Thewlis as Alfred Pennyworth, Batman's loyal butler and mentor figure

. Bryan Cranston as Commissioner James Gordon

. Giancarlo Esposito as Lucius Fox

. Jared Harris as Dr. Hugo Strange

. Mark Strong as Mr. Freeze

. Willem Dafoe as the Joker

. David Mazouz as Dick Grayson/Robin

. Emma Stone as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl

I decided to make this fun list, because, as someone who loves animation and especially animated Disney films, why not?

1. Snow White is the very first Disney Princess, appearing back in 1937 in, of course, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She is also confirmed to be the youngest Disney princess, at around age 14.

2. Walt Disney's favorite Disney princess was Cinderella.

3. The first Disney Princess of Disney's modern age, and specifically the one who helped start the Disney Renaissance, is Ariel of The Little Mermaid (1989). She is also the first Disney Princess to have red hair.

4. Tiana, in addition to being the first African American Disney Princess, is also the first Disney Princess to reside in the United States (not Pocahontas, since she lived in North America back when the United States didn't exist as a country).

5. Tiana was originally named "Madeleine" during production of The Princess and the Frog, or "Maddy" for short. But the creators later learned that Maddy was historically a stereotypical black female name, so they changed it to avoid possible controversy.

6. Princess Aurora of Sleeping Beauty (1959) has only 18 lines in her movie, making her the princess who speaks the least.

7. Before the Disney Renaissance, there were just 3 Disney princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora.

8. Snow White is the first female fictional character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

9. Indina Menzel, known for voicing Elsa of Frozen (2013), auditioned to voice Rapunzel in Tangled (2010). Rapunzel's role was given to Mandy Moore, but Indina made an impression that she ended up later getting cast as Elsa due to her voice audition.

10. Princess Aurora is confirmed to stand 5 foot, 6 inches in height, making her the tallest Disney Princess.

11. Famed singer Beyonce was sure that she would be cast as Tiana, that she reportedly thought she didn't have to audition. However, the role went to Anika Noni Rose.

12. Pocahontas was initially going to have an animal sidekick that was a talking turkey called Redfeather. He was to be voiced by John Candy, but the filmmakers ultimately decided to stick to a mute sidekick, hence her animal friend Meeko the raccoon.

13. Elsa is the oldest of the Disney Princesses, officially becoming queen at age 21.

14. Jasmine of Aladdin (1991) is considered the first Disney Princess of color, as the film is set somewhere in the Middle East. She debuted years before Mulan and Tiana.

15. Mulan is not technically a princess in her film, since she does not come from a royal line or marry a prince.

16. Which Disney Princess comes from the most recent time period? That would be Tiana, since her film is officially set in the 1920s.

17. Many fans have suggested that Megara or "Meg" from Disney's Hercules (1997), could be a good addition to the Disney Princesses.

The title says it all. Hope you love these facts I've discovered while scouring the Internet for some good trivia for Generation 4 of My Little Pony!

1. During the show's development, the working title was "My Little Pony Adventures".

2. Lauren Faust's original name for Fluttershy was "Posey".

3. During the production stages of season 5, Starlight Glimmer's original name was "Aurora Glimmer", but it was changed due to Disney having the name trademarked for one of their Disney princesses, Princess Aurora.

4. The character of Trixie was originally planned to be a boy. But the main screenwriter suggested to Lauren to make Trixie female. Lauren later said that this change was for the better.

5. The Mane cast characters went through several changes during the show's planning stages. Originally, Fluttershy was an Earth Pony, Pinkie Pie was going to be a white Pegasus called Surprise, and Rainbow Dash would have been Firefly, a recycled pony from Generation 1.

6. The town of Ponyville was inspired by German-style cottage houses and was also designed with a fairy-tale quality aesthetic.

7. When the character Discord was developed, the show writers told the executives that Discord was based on the character "Q" from Star Trek. Initially planning to have a voice actor soundalike do the "Q" voice for Discord, Hasbro decided to get Q's actor John de Lancie to do the voice for Discord.

7. Though the show's "golden age" is often considered to be from 2011 to about 2014, 2015 was the year where fan activity and convention attendance was the highest (according to TV Tropes).

8. Rarity's element was originally going to be the "Element of Inspiration", but it was changed to "Element of Generosity" since it was thought that "inspiration" would be too hard and complex for child viewers to understand.

9. Initially, Twilight Sparkle's name was "Twilight Twinkle," Princess Luna was "Princess Selena", Apple Bloom was "Appleseed", and Big Macintosh was "Big Apple". But the names had to be changed for legal reasons.

10. The names considered for Applejack and her family's farm home were "Big Apple Farm" or "Big Apple Orchard" before settling on "Sweet Apple Acres". Their farm was also going to be located in Fillydelphia rather than Ponyville.

11. Two of season 1's episodes, "Suited for Success", and "Read it and Weep" were initially titled "Dress for Failure" and "Reading Rainbow" respectively. The first episode was changed for sounding too negative, while the second had to be changed because of legal reasons.

12. During the voice auditions for the main cast, Lauren initially had Tara Strong in mind to voice Pinkie Pie (before the role went to Andrea Libman). Tara also auditioned for Applejack, before she was cast as Twilight Sparkle.

13. Before Nicole Oliver was cast as Princess Celestia, Kathleen Barr (who voiced Trixie and Queen Chrysalis) auditioned for Celestia. The show staff noted that Barr's audition was "very good".

14. The setting in Equestria has no smartphones, TV sets, cars, or modern-day computers. Though there are some old-school machines such as record players and movie projectors. The production crew said that the relative lack of modern technology in the show was intentional, so that it would have a "timeless" feel.

15. Friendship is Magic was supposed to end with the season 3 finale "Magical Mystery Cure", but because of the show's popularity and fan support, the show continued for another six seasons.

16. John de Lancie admitted that he initially voiced Discord just to get a large paycheck and had completely forgotten about the role until the airing of "The Return of Harmony" and also with over 100 fan mail rolled into his mail account. From then on, de Lancie has come to appreciate the role.

17. Lauren Faust's husband, Craig McCracken, designed the Wonderbolt team's costumes.

18. King Sombra's name literally means "King Shadow".

19. On the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), the show's highest-rated episode is "The Perfect Pear" of season 7.

20. According to the vision of Lauren Faust, the show's ultimate message about friendship means being oneself and accepting others. This may be why so many older viewers were drawn to the show's positivity of this.
